VADEN L. SAMS
CULVER - Vaden L. Sams, 93, Culver, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005. Mr. Sams was born April 7, 1911, in Culver. He was a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte, of Minneapolis; three daughters, Dixie Frain and Dana Sams, both of Salina, and Karen Krone of Phoenix; a brother, Larry of Salina; three sisters, Margaret Vlcek of San Diego, Lois Valle of West Milford, N.J., and Beth Jilka of Hill City; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Memorials may be made to the church or Minneapolis Good Samaritan Center. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Shields Funeral Home, 405 Argyle, Minneapolis, KS 67467. The casket will remain closed. |
